CONTEXT

The Department’s strategy is to significantly strengthen program delivery capability and ensure investments are used effectively to safeguard Australia’s interests at home and abroad. To achieve this, an in-house consulting team has been established to guide and support the Department’s most complex projects—ensuring it operates as an informed, cohesive buyer and user of external expertise.

The Department set out to strengthen its in-house consulting capability with a structured approach to shaping initiatives and mobilising teams.
